It took me 4 hours from drop off to completion of repair. This included diagnosis via a short drive, ordering and delivering of parts by courier, and completion of the two "knocking" repairs. I was able to visit a nearby cafe and then work on my laptop in a quiet area of the equally nearby Ladywell Leisure Centre - there was no point in making an interim return to central London. I preempted the first call clarifying the repairs needed and received the second "ready to collect" call around the initially estimated time. I will definitely be returning to this particular garage for the car's annual pre-MOT service, for any minor or major faults. I have trust and confidence in this particular garage and I am not going anywhere else. 10/01/12
