I'm quite mechanically minded and do over 90% of my own repairs, however some things have to be done using equipment that the average DIY'er has not got. I replaced my air conditioning condenser and then needed the system topped up with gas, compressor oil and leak detectable UV dye. Having used Ability before for an exhaust I went to them. Staff were very knowledgeable, prices were very competitive and air conditioning machine used was very good quality. I had the system fully vacuumed out and topped up with the correct grade and quantity of gas and oil, a full test included high and low pressure as well as high pressure temperature and low pressure temperature. The mechanic then checked over every hose and connection with a leak detection gun he even checked the inside of the car (this is the location of the evaporator). I now have an air conditioning system that is working as it should. For the price that I paid I got a very in depth service of my system, there are a lot of places where you can have your air conditioning topped up, however that is what most of them do just top up, you really need the system drained and then refilled to the makers spec, then you know what is in the system and it should work perfectly. If we ever get a decent day or two of sun and your air conditioning is not as it should be, try Ability for an air con service, I will go back there for mine. 08/08/11

I live in Ketley and was looking for a local garage to take my car in for an MOT, I saw advert in the car park and was impressed by the MOT testing price. The on-line booking system was very simple to use and the staff at the garage extremely helpful. The car was in and out in a mater of hours and tyres and repair they did were at an extremely reasonable rate. I will be using their services again in the future. Excellent! An impressive response to my e-enquiry made in the evening, which was replied to within the hour, so I booked the car in. On arrival the fitter showed us what needed repairing and obtained prices immediately. The Parts were ordered and the vehicle was repaired within three hours of arrival. Faultless, efficient service (rarely found these days). I have since used Ability again, so has my son and received the same excellent service. The fitter made three attempts at repairing a puncture, showing me the results each time (a nail had penetrated and damaged the tyre). Once it was agreed a new tyre was required, it was ordered and fitted in 24 hours with courteous and friendly service. 01/06/11
