The following are the terms and conditions of use of the Good Garage Scheme website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you use the Good Garage Scheme website .
By using the Good Garage Scheme website you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions you must not use the Good Garage Scheme website .

1. This Agreement is made between you the customer (“Customer”) and Forte, Company No 1234350 registered in the UK, VAT registration number 307 1455 82.
2. In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires:

“Internet”
means the global data network comprising interconnected networks using the TCP/IP (“Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol”);
“Law”
means any law, statute or regulation, guideline or code of conduct (whether or not having the force of law) in any jurisdiction to which Good Garage Scheme or the Customer is from time to time subject;
“Service
means the service provided by Forte via the Good Garage Scheme website whereby the Customer may obtain impartial information on Garages and the services they offer and, potentially transact with the Garages for the provision of those services and/or products;
“Software”
means any proprietary software utilised by Good Garage Scheme to enable the Customer to use the Service;
“Supplier”
means any supplier of services, products and/or goods selected by Good Garage Scheme from time to time and who is listed on the Good Garage Scheme website.

3. Good Garage Scheme reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. All amendments to these terms will be posted on-line. The Customer may terminate the Agreement by written notice to Good Garage Scheme if the Customer does not wish to be bound by such new terms and conditions. Continued use of the Service or the Good Garage Scheme website will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions:

Our service aims to bring to you recommendations of garages that have registered with the Good Garage Scheme.  In performing the obligations as administrators of the Scheme, Forte’s only duty is to exercise reasonable care and skill.

Forte will not be a party to any service or transaction you take up with the garages and all such transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant garage.  Forte shall in no circumstances have any liability whatsoever in respect of any such transaction.

Further, Forte is not responsible for the work done, or not done, by a garage or individual registered under the Good Garage Scheme.  As such Forte will not be responsible for any loss, cost, or damage incurred by you arising out of or in relation to services provided by a garage.  In this respect we do not offer any insurance or guarantees.

Complaints:

Forte would ask that customers first raise their complaints with the garage or individual following any reasonable complaints procedure in place by the garage.  If this does not bring a satisfactory outcome then we are happy for the complaint to be raised with us under our complaints procedure.  However, we are not responsible for settling disputes, but will try to take reasonable steps to encourage the resolution of any complaint.

Disclaimer of Warranty and Liability:

Forte do not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this website is accurate, complete or current.  Forte accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of any use which you make of such information.  However, Forte will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information relating to the Good Garage Scheme, and the garages registered with the scheme, is updated regularly. 

The information provided on this website and under the Good Garage Scheme has not been written to meet your individual requirements and it is your sole responsibility to satisfy yourself prior to using any of the recommended garages or services from us that they are suitable for your specific requirement and purpose.

Therefore, Forte shall not be liable in contract, tort (including liability for negligence or misrepresentation) or otherwise for any loss or damages suffered are a result of any use of the Scheme including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage and loss of business, revenue or profits, anticipated savings or wasted expenditure.

All warranties, express or implied, statutory or otherwise are hereby excluded.

Intellectual property rights

1. All intellectual property rights (including all copyright, patents, trade marks, service marks, trade names, designs (including the "look and feel" and other visual or non-literal elements) whether registered or unregistered) in the Good Garage Scheme website, information and content on the Good Garage Scheme website, any database operated by Good Garage Scheme and Software shall remain the property of Good Garage Scheme and the Customer shall not obtain, and shall not attempt to obtain any title to any such intellectual property rights.
2. No part of the Service may be reproduced in any form or used in any other way except in accordance with these terms and conditions.
3. Goodgaragescheme, Good Garage Scheme, Goodgaragescheme.co.uk, the Good Garage Scheme and the Goodgaragescheme logo are registered trade marks of Good Garage Scheme. You must not use these or any other registered or unregistered trade marks on the Service without the prior written permission of Good Garage Scheme.
4. Good Garage Scheme grants the Customer a non-exclusive non-transferrable licence to use the Software solely in executable form and only to the extent necessary for use of the Service and for no other purpose.
