I had major problems with my 2002 Astra petrol car. The engine management warning lights were coming on all of the time and burning oil like mad. After three visits to the Vauxhall main dealer and a lot of expense, they could not understand what was wrong. I was told of Totham Garage who were fantastic. The staff at Totham put me straight on to a diagnostic analyst for my control box (John Satin) who found the trouble in one hour. Totham Garage stripped the engine and replaced the valve stem oil seals, piston rings and oil rings. The engine has run fine ever since. Thank you Allen and Martin at Totham garage. In February 2010, Martin has fitted a new radiator with excellent craftsmanship and service. Through all of this trauma, I found Allen to be very reasonable with his prices. I felt I had found a five star team. 02/03/10

I have used many garages over the years, but this was the only one which treated me like I wasn't just a silly woman. The owner Allen could not have been more helpful. He kept me informed at every step of the way and did many diagnostics before explaining fully what the fault was and how he could rectify it. I was amazed that he offered me a lift home as I needed to leave the car at the garage and indeed when the car was ready, he rang me and brought the car to my home! I can't praise the workmanship or customer service highly enough. 09/02/10

I am just very pleased with work and service. When the part was not available, the fitter did a quick welding job to keep me going until the next day, without charging or even taking my details to ensure I was coming back! That was just an unexpected bonus that I very much appreciated. Excellent staff. 09/02/10

Brilliant garage. I'm glad to have finally found a garage I can trust who always deliver a good service with good communication and fair prices.
